Greater Yellowstone's Mountain Ungulates: a contrast in management histories and challenges is authored by a team of 18 wildlife professionals from federal and state government agencies and academic institutions in and around the Greater Yellowstone area. All have first-hand experience with conserving and managing mountain goats and bighorn sheep in the region. These experts have combined their knowledge and experiences to provide a non-technical narrative that describes the history, ecology, and management of these two iconic large mammals in the region.
